After School XLT

After School XLT

What is it?
After School XLT is a study hall managed by Cheldelin staff members and community volunteers who meet with students, help them prioritize their work, and assist in work completion and test preparation. It is a structured, focused work environment providing opportunities for individual and group study in a supervised and supportive setting. We ask that you encourage your child to consider this as serious work time, rather than a time
for socializing.

When is it?
After School XLT is held Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Students will meet in the Cheldelin Library from
3:45 – 4:30 and will be able to utilize other supervised school spaces for different kinds of study needs.
What about transportation?
Bus transportation from Cheldelin to the Boys’ and Girls’ Club will be provided.

What if they don’t need it every session?
For accountability and safety, we prefer that students attend predictably. If your child is not going to be attending on any given day, email Sarah Farrell to let us know. If a student fails to show up for ASXLT, we will be calling parents using our automated phone system.

Questions?
Please contact Sarah Farrell in the Cheldelin Library, at 541-757-5997.
