Lost and Found

We have postponed the donation of our unclaimed lost and found items until Winter Break. There are lunchboxes, books, water bottles, glasses, articles of clothing and more, so if your student is missing anything, please check or have them check before we close for Winter Break. The last day of school in December is Thursday, the 19th.

Canned Food Drive

Join our Leadership classes in helping out the less fortunate in our community. Send canned goods, condiments, and other non-perishable food items to school with your student to be collected in their 7th period classes. There is a donation box in each classroom. The class that collects the highest number of donated items for the duration of the drive will receive donuts in their 7th period class after Winter Break. The Canned Food Drive continues through next Wednesday, 12/18.

Character Dare

Character Strong! This week’s Character Strong “Character Dare” is for students to make kindness normal by spreading sincere compliments. Students are asked to write three sincere compliments to friends, family, teachers, etc. and leave them at their desks, on their lockers, or even in their backpacks or other things. Let’s make kindness normal!

Please Help Keep Our Students Healthy

Several of our schools have many students out ill with what seems to be Norovirus. Norovirus is very contagious. Symptoms may include vomiting, diarrhea, nausea, low-grade fever, abdominal cramps, malaise, and chills. If your student has these symptoms, please keep them home for 48 hours after vomiting/diarrhea has resolved.

And don’t forget, hand washing is our first line of defense against sickness all year long, but especially during the winter when we tend to spend more time in close quarters with others, making it easier for germs to spread.
