Keep Your Information Up to Date
If you move, get a new email address, change jobs, or have other changes to your contact information, please be sure to call the office or email firstname.lastname@example.org so we can update your information in our student database. It’s important for contact information to be up to date so you can be kept informed about what’s happening at Cheldelin, and especially so we can reach you if your student is ill or injured, or if there is any sort of emergency here at school.
Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences
Conferences are arena-style, on a drop-in basis. All full time teachers will be in the cafeteria (part-time teachers may not be available during all sessions). Each teacher will have their own station, and parents are welcome to come during the open hours that suit their schedule best. Find your student’s teachers and move from station to station until you have seen everyone you want to conference with. Conferences last for 10 minutes with each teacher. Part-time teacher schedules will be coming home soon. Conferences are the following dates and times:
- Wednesday, October 30: 5-8 pm
- Thursday, October 31: 9 am-12 pm & 1-4 pm
Yesterday was picture retake day, so any student who didn’t get their picture taken during Schedule Pick Up in August should have been photographed for the yearbook and their student ID. If you would like to order portraits, you can still do so online at mylifetouch.com. You will need the Picture Day ID, which is FO529455Y1.
Let's Talk About Student Success!
The Student Success Act marks a turning point for education in Oregon. When fully implemented, our state will see an additional $1 billion investment in schools each year. This investment will provide new opportunities for every student in our state, particularly students who have been historically underserved.
You have an important role to play. We need your input to help develop a plan to best meet the needs of our students and our community.
Call Ahead for Appointments
If you need to pick up your student early for an appointment, please call the attendance line at 541-757-5972 the morning of the appointment. That way we can send a note to your student and have them waiting in the office when you arrive.
