School Information

Cheldelin Middle School welcomes all students and offers a balanced and supportive educational program. Our mission is to foster each individual student's growth academically, emotionally, and socially by challenging, engaging, and inspiring all students, allowing them to reach their potential. Our administrative team is dedicated to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all students, families, and staff.

Cheldelin Middle School was built in 1967. Our school was named in honor of Vernon H. Cheldelin, the founding director of the institute of Science at Oregon State University and a long-time member of the Corvallis School Board. We are the home of the Cougars and our colors and our enrollment is approximately 600 students in grades six through eight.

We welcome you to the Cheldelin community!
